Jon Riesel OS 2.0

Neurotech + Meditation

A living field guide from the intersection of commerce, intelligence and human performance.

An independent practice lab for meditation feedback, home neurofeedback and the operator habits around them. This page does not claim a partnership with Muse or Myndlift and does not diagnose, treat or promise a health outcome.

Muse as a sensing layer

Muse provides brain-sensing hardware and a developer SDK. Its official developer information states that commercial applications require a commercial licence. Jon Riesel OS therefore treats Muse as an editorial and personal-practice reference until written commercial rights exist. Read the official Muse developer information.

Myndlift as a guided workflow

Myndlift presents an at-home neurofeedback workflow using EEG, compatible Muse hardware and guidance. Its own consumer information says neurofeedback should not replace medical treatment or therapy and does not guarantee a cure or treatment. See how Myndlift describes the process.

A practical operator loop

  1. Arrive: remove the next distraction and settle the body.
  2. Sense: observe a baseline without treating a number as a verdict.
  3. Train: repeat one short meditation or guided session consistently.
  4. Reflect: record sleep, focus, energy and behaviour in plain language.
  5. Review: change one variable at a time and stop if the practice creates concern.

Boundaries

  • Educational and editorial content only
  • No diagnosis, treatment or personalised healthcare advice
  • No resale, trademark use or commercial integration without written rights
  • Professional healthcare support remains the appropriate route for medical questions
